Welcome to this wiki*, an online collection of valuable information and links that will help you research your Extended Essay and produce a bibliography in the MLA style.

Everyone knows Google, but do you know how to go beyond Google when searching the web?

Living in Singapore, we are lucky to have access to the enormous resources of the public library. (Yes, foreigners can become members.) The NLB (or National Library Board) has 22 branches and they're open 7 days a week, from 10 AM to 9 PM. You can:

The Singapore national library is also important because they provide online access to over 100 subscription research databases (think of them like cable TV channels -- you pay for specialized, high-quality information -- but in this case it's the government footing the bill...).

You should also know about a wide range of free web tools that can help you track your research and organize notes and information online.

Only teachers will be invited to contribute this wiki; students can participate via conversation threads. So please ask questions, comments, etc. All input appreciated.
